First day at Pre-school

My beautiful girl had a great first day at school, never even bat an eyelid when I left her but was very happy to see me at home time and skipped along telling me everything she did :) I knew she would take this in her stride, she cant wait to be a big girl

I just enrolled my teeny Hannah to pre-school .... wahh stop the train, i wanna get off!

Parents Evening

Thrilled with Emilys Parents Evening, she is slightly above average with her Reading, 6months ahead with her writing and almost a year ahead with her math! This has been a tough year for her with lots of time off with Chickenpox and Tonsilitis and she has still pulled a report like this, SOOO PROUD!!!

More snow yipeee!

We got even more snow this morning so the girls ran outside in their snow suits to build a snowman in our front garden (with a little help from Mummy) I left them to use their own creative flair with decorating and Emily ran in the house and found her Cinderella wig and they made it into a snow princess haha, so sweet!

YAY SNOW!!!

 

We grabbed our sledges and went up to Auntie Shells house to go sledging at a small park area near their house and it was amazing fun! The little hill is perfect for the girls, just enough but not too much and they could even easily drag their own sledge back up the hill, the best snow fun we have ever had they couldn't get enough bless them, we had to head home when their snow suits got soggy but we was out for a good hour before the cold got too much :)

 

My big girl is 6 !!

Well my beautiful Emily is 6 !! On her birthday we had a decoy family gathering with a little tea party as I had told Emily I couldn't afford to have parties every year.... but she has no idea that the following day she was to have a surprise party haha.

 

I booked Ossett Methodist and a bouncy castle and invited as many friends as I could at short notice and Aunty Shell took Emily on a wild goose chase while we set up, she had no idea at all and was totally blown away when she walked in and saw all her friends.

 

As per usual our amazing family pulled together and the parents on her school friends mucked in and we had a brilliant time :)

Visiting the Grotto

I took the girls to the garden centre to visit with Santa today, Emily was bursting with excitement but Hannah was not impressed at all, she was keeping her eye on the shifty man and pouting the whole time haha, was a little bit embarrassing but im glad she is dubious of strange men even when they are dressed as Santa and give you gifts!
