First Paddle

Finally sunshine!  This is what we have been waiting for since Hannah fell ill. Iv been just bursting to ger her out playing in the sunshine!
I went out and bought a more reasonable sized paddling pool for both girls to fit in as the huge pool takes too much filling and the little pools not big enough.  Hannah absolubtly loved it, she was in for ages playing with the toys, it was a lovely afternoon!

Yorkshire Sc .. Sc .. Statue Park

Daddy had the day off work today and as the weather was beautifull again we decided to throw some snacks, Emilys scooter and Hannahs pram in the boot and go and check out the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Hannah was loving the wide open safe space and was set free with her little dollys pram which she will push for mile without getting bored.  It was lovely to be able to let her have a bit of freedom instead of being strapped in the pram all the time.

When we got there we must have taken the wrong path as we ended up on a really long hot boring treck round a lake where there was nothing of great interest. The girls were brilliant and hardly moaned at all even tho there was great big swarms of midgies and we wanted to find a place to sit for our snacks and a drink but there was no-where to stop in the shade.

Luckily as we were heading back to the main area and carpark we found a small sculpture trail that was really nice. Emily enjoyed climbing up the rocks and exploring the sculptures.  There was loads of beautiful blossom trees and daffodils!  We were all exhausted when we got home and the girls had an early night but at least we know which way to go and which way not to go when we go again hehe

Spring Has Sprung!

Well the sun finally craked out!
A little bit on the windy side but still we couldnt wait to lap up some brightness so we took the girls to the park to feed to feed the ducks and have a pic-nic. Hannah loved just running about the pic-nic area.
Nanna bought the girls an ice-cream, i wasnt too sure how it would go down with Hannah as she can be funny with cold things but she absolubtly loved it. I have no idea how the ice-cream stayed in the cone as she was marching about with it upside down most of the time!

Hair Washing

I knew it was coming eventually! Hannah has decided she hates hates HATES having her hair washed, it starts from the moment she sees the shampoo even before its on her head.  She knows once its on there is only going to be one way to get it off and starts with this face and moaning and whining.
You could be forgiven for mistaking this face as a laugh but believe me it was accompanied by a high pitched squeal hehe
She is slowely starting to come round to the idea of relaxing on my arm laid down and floating for a short time so if im quick i can get the job done without too much fuss but i must admit id forgotten how frustrating this phase was with Emily.

Correction!

Emily is so bright, she has even started correcting my grammer at times when i say something incorrectly and she is super clever and drinks up any new information like a sponge if she isnt in a stubborn mood when she thinks she knows everything.

I cant remember what it was we was talking about but i was explaining something to her today and said "...so you see, thats why ..."

Emily said "dont you mean, So you hear..? So you see doesnt make sense .."
And do you know what she has a point!!
