World of Warcraft

In our dining room we have a load of old computer parts and in amongst it all is a broken laptop that Steve lets the girls play with. Emily can sit for ages pretending to surf the internet and talk to her imaginary friends.  Today she decided she wanted a headset like Daddys and asked if we had a spare or broken one she could pretend with.  I couldnt find anything anywhere so i decided to put my creativity to the test and after a bit of hunting i found a straw 2 kitchen scrub sponges and a pink headband.  Lashings of sellotape later this is what i came up with!

Emily was really pleased with it and pretended she was playing World of Warcraft like Daddy for ages hehe

Steve suddenly got the urge today to start looking at a new kitchen so he decided to get the tape measure out and draw up some figures.  As soon as Emily saw what he was up to she ran to get her small tape measure to join in then she ran off again, i wondered where she was going now and she came back with a tiny tape measure she got out of a cracker at christmas and gave it to Hannah hehe

4 Today!

Well this day 4 years ago after 20 some hours in labour a beautiful soul entered this world, she was 6lb 10oz with a flash of dark hair and the most beautifull thing i had ever set my eyes on.  We called her Emily, a pretty name for a pretty girl!

I cant believe my baby is 4 already, i feel like i blinked and missed the last year since Hannah came along, Emily has changed so much, i look back at the pictures of Hannahs birth and it suprises me what a baby face Emily still had then.

I wanted her to have the most wonderfull birthday party and spent allot of time getting things together for it but unfortunatly at the last minute loads of people cancelled because of sickness etc.  I was so dissapointed for Emily, she had so been looking forward to it.

We decided to have a practice party with just us and re-scheduled the real party for the following saturday.  She got a new pink disco ball, a space hopper and a fairy that looks like its really flying.  She was made up but her favorite by far was the space hopper, she hasnt been off it since i blew it up.

This is Clarabell the magical flying fairy. Emily loves her but she still hasnt won over the space in Emilys heart that is reserved only for Jolinna Ballerina

The morning after her birthday party the girls were sitting on the setee watching tv and i came in the room to find them enjoying a lovely cuddle.

Emily is the best big sister in the world and such an amazing little girl!

Bestest Mum

Driving along in the car today Emily said from the back
Emily: "Mum your the bestest mum ever in the world"
Me: "Aww thanks darling what a lovely thing to say"
Emily: " You have to keep it secret though your not allowed to tell anyone"
Me: "Why is it a secret babes? your allowed to say that if thats what you feel"
Emily: "Well i dont want the other mums to think they are bad mums, they are good mums its just your the bestest"

Words cannot describe how much i love this little girl.  Inside and out she is such a lovely beautiful person and im so proud of her i could cry!
Im such a lucky mum!

Treasure Hunt

Emilys favorite game to play on an evening is Treasure Hunts and tonight Daddy set up a brilliant one with clues that led to clues etc till you found a shell treasure chest full of gold coins.

Emily has just decided she is going to set up her own version to play tomorrow and had me write out the clue;

When you lay in your bed be found the treasure on the key.
Next clue to find is very hard.
And when you look under your pillos you might find the key.
When you look under your pillow thats Emily.
This clue is hard to find coz if you look under your pillow you will find something really quick.
And if you see a dog or a tiger do be sure to stay calm!

No more gummy bear

Hannah has got top teeth at last! Her first top front tooth cut through a couple of weeks ago but now its next door neighbour has made an appearance at last, she might have better look with her food now she has the tools to bite properly yipeee!

Poor kids..

In the past when Emily wont eat her dinner iv told her about the poor boys and girls in third world countries that dont have nice clothes good food and toys to play with.  She asked me once what they play with then so i told her they dont really play much but when they do they play hop-scotch with camal poo (i didnt know what else to say at the time haha!)

She often brings up the poor kids who have to play with camel poo but it made me laugh when she was in the bath earlier with Hannah i left Steve watching them while i changed the beds and i was listening to her rattling on chattering with her Dad and he was telling Hannah not to drink the bath water or she would get a poorly tummy and she informed her Dad "some poor kids have to drink warm bath water dont they dad? Yuk!"
She must think when i said they have to drink dirty water that they drink their warm bath water, bless her cotton socks hehe

I love my little girls sooo much!

Knows when im feeling down and cheers me up by telling me what a good mum i am
Is giving and gentle and generous
Is optomistic, every day even rainy and gray she still comments on what a beautiful day it is
Has to have certain things just so
Gets bashfull when she has attracted too much attention
Loves a cuddle
Talks to her baby sister, calling her chicken and darling
Says Vail Narnish and Lightbooob

I love the way Hannah;
Cant help but head bob when she hears her favorite songs
She totally trusts you when playing barber shop
Leans in for a kiss at random even when you havnt asked for one
Waves like the queen
Pulls cheeky faces
Loves to make people laugh
Wraps her arms round my neck so tightly for a cuddle
Makes little noises like a monkey
