Day out!

Today we was supposed to be meeting up with Anne and the girls at Sundown Adventure Land.
Unfortunatly it didnt quite go as planned and after getting lost in a never ending stressfull hot and sweaty Doncaster we decided to give in and go back to Wakefield.
I managed to distract Emily by letting her play with my camera so she went snap happy and took a few pics hehe

Emily was a bit upset about us not getting to Sundown as she had been looking forward to going but lucky for her on the way back we passed by Hemsorth Waterpark and decided to bob in to make something of the day, the weather was beautifull and after claiming a pic-nic bench for Nan to sit on we played in the sand for a bit then bought 3 tickets for the train.

Emily loved the fact that we was taking Hannah on with us and posed for this photo, she even held her during half of the train ride but then asked me to move her with me so she could hold on properly.

Hannah also had a go on the toddler swings there and is so stable now she sits up straight and holds on by herself instead of being propped with a blanket like she was before.

Then Nanna had a great idea of nipping home for some lunch and a cup of tea then taking the girls up to Horbury Park so Emily could take her bike (Emily got her way and we actually ended up taking her bike AND scooter lol!).  She loves going up there on her new bike and its nice and relaxing as all the floor is level and rubber coated so we can sit with the flask and enjoy watching Emily.  Anyway Nanna had'nt finished with the great ideas yet! She then suggested taking Hannahs walker with us!
What a fantastic idea, i dont know why we never thought of it before, Hannah loved being among it all and Emily loved sharing the fun with her little sister as always hehe

Rainy Day Fun

Well what a horrible gray day it was today so we decided to go round to Nannas and get out all the pop up tents and the ball pool and ran a tunnel between the tent and pool, it was great fun but even better fun when i realised we could put Hannah in her door bouncer and post her in through the top of the ball-pool! Emily thought it was brilliant fun having someone to share the fun with!
Both girls loved it, Hannah was squealing with joy and Emily was laughing her head off, it was deffinatly one of my better ideas and kept them entertained for ages.

Flamingoland!

A massive group of us went to Flamingoland on Thursday and Friday and we had a fantastic if exhausting time!
We snook Emily in for free by pretending she was under three, it was never questioned which was good as i had been worried someone might ask for proof of age but she is such a dainty little thing for her age.

She had the most amazing 2 days ever, she was so brave and went on just about every ride she could and walked her little legs off, she loved watching the baboons, giraffes, zebra and best of all the baby meercats and we also went to the Sealion show 2 days running as she enjoyed it so much!

The first time she saw the frog hopper running every kid on it burst out crying the first time it bounced so she decided she didnt like the look of it but on the second day when Liam was going on she braved it and loved it! I think they must have been on it about 5 times hehe

Gemma came too and Emily loved pretending to be a big girl and hanging out with Gemma.
There was only one ride that Emily didnt like and that was a driving track where the kids drive battery operated cars and she got all upset because she wasnt strong enough to steer so i had the man hit the power off button so i could run in and rescue her.  After she had calmed down she told me how much she loves me :0)

It wasnt much fun for Hannah as she is a bit too young for it yet but she enjoyed riding in the front of the pram amusing herself and taking in the sights, she also enjoyed the pic-nic and managed to pinch Mo's cheese sandwhich which she gummed to death and really enjoyed

On the second day she spent some time in her carry harness so i was running about and giving her a ride so she didnt feel left out.

She is such a plesant well behaved little baby, she spent allot of time with Nanna while we all went on rides and was never a bit of bother
She is my little angel and i love her to bits and pieces!

Before we left we visited the gift shop and Emily picked out a Giraffe mask, we will deffinatly be doing this again next year, everyone had a brilliant but very very tiring time.

Nom Nom!

Hannah loves food! She will try anything, if she see's me eating i get no peace, she will watch me putting food in my mouth and chew along with me hehe.

This is Hannah eating a marshmallow sandwich which she really enjoyed sucking on, she has also in the last few weeks had Cheddars, Quavers, Nic-naks and cookies hehe

Emily'isms

Kids make me laugh so much, Hannah is sat here in her walker with a great big cheesy grin because she has managed to get from the living room to the dining room, Emily says "mum she is blocking my way i cant get in! She is in my destination!" lol just love them so much!

Growing so fast!

Hannah is very sturdy now, she loves sitting in her high-chair up amongst it all and her favorite place in the world is in her baby walker charging round the house following me and Emily.
When she is sitting in her high chair she does this super cute thing where she tips her head to the side like she is trying to see round something then laughs, she is so scrummy!!
She got bored in her walker the other day so i gave her some skips and she troffed them in minutes hehe

Emily's Bike!

Well we have tried on a number of occations this summer to go bike shopping but Emily has shown little interest and kept saying she was happy with her trike but i really wanted her to have a real big girl bike.  We decided to leave it alone till she started nagging for one but it seemed an awful shame to waste the summer.

Well we had a rainy few days so we counted out Emily's money box and went to Toys r' us to see if we could buy anything nice to play with and we spotted a pink big girls bike that was marked down to £38 just because it had been the shop display model and as Emily had counted £35 out of her money box i paid the difference and she was pleased as punch with her purchase!

She has picked it up really quickly so im very pleased.  She always struggled with the trike as the peddals are to the front and she didnt have the strength in her legs to turn them properly and as i had hoped because a big girls bike has the peddals directly underneath she is getting along with it great.  Now to master the brakes!! hehe

We take the girls to Horbury park as the floor is rubber coated and Hannah follows Emily in her baby walker!
