Bumps in the night ...

I just spent 45 mins laid in Emilys bed with her waiting for the "sword noise" she swears she heard, turns out it was one of her stick arounds curling up at the edges lol, they dont like sticking to textured wallpaper. Still i enjoyed the 4 songs she sung me while ww waited, shame she wouldnt let me close my eyes tho and kept peeling them open lol

Ultrasound again ...

Well my worst nightmare has been realised, the Ultrasound has shown no change, as she is not putting on any weight they want to operate sooner rather than later but will have to wait 2 weeks as she has just had her jabs. Seems they expect to do it within 4 weeks so probably be between 10th and 24th May, was talk of taking her in before then for tube feeding up before the op but not sure yet. Dr Brown is ringing me tomorrow after she has consulted the surgeons

Weekly Checkup

Hannah is still 9lb 8oz but not too bad considering the amount of milk she has brought back this week. It will be Monday when she sees Dr Brown the Heart Specialist who will decide what happens next, cant imagine she is going to be too chuffed with 10oz weight gain in 4 weeks

Quaranteen

Im not having a very good time at the moment, Hannah has started bringing back her milk, i was up all last night and bed ridden today with sickness and now emily has started. Hannah is in quaranteen at Nannas because im not convinced her problems are our tummy bug, missing her like crazy, havnt seen her since yesterday tea time! Poor Emily is really ill, she is living on the setee with the poorly blanket and a bucket by her side, she has never been this ill before poor baby!

Weekly Checkup

Weekly check up went fantastic! Hannah went from 4.10 to 4.30 kg in a week which is roughly 9lb1oz to 9lb8oz so im very pleased with 7oz weigh gain in a week considering for the 4 weeks previous to that she kept gaining and loosing. Very happy with progress :0)

Yey!

Good News! Hannahs weight is finally heading in the right direction, went for a checkup today and it felt weird leaving the ward, like i was stealing a baby lol I ran just incase they changed there minds! She has finally broken the 9lb barrier so iv got to keep doing whatever iv been doing this past couple of days which... has been my own feeding plan not the doctors but i didnt like to rub it in, fingers crossed she keeps this up.

Home again ....

Home Again! Went for Hannahs checkup on Thursday, she had lost weight even after force feeding for a week! She was re-admited to tube feed for 2 days then back on bottle, been in there 4 nights! So glad to be home again, im going to tape some small weights behind her ear lobes for her next check up!



I really really hope that now her body is used to the diuretics that she puts on a little bit of weight for next weeks checkup.
