So Busy!

We had a weekend visit from Ross & Lia and we all took Emily to Cannon Hall Farm. The sun was out it was a beautiful day and most importantly Emily had a wonderful time!

Emily was saying hello to every animal she came across!

Then a few days after Ross and Lia went home there was a Free play day in the park which was a bit of a let down really, the only entertaining thing was the hay bales they had spread all over the field that the kids were playing in which was really good fun.

This Sunday just gone Emily was bored and Auntie Rie had told us there was another play day so we decided to go along and see if this one was any better and it was a great afternoon in the park with our Local radio DJ (Dixie from Real Radio) entertainment in a centre barrier, Circus equipment to play with and Emily also had her first ride on a train which contrary to the look on her face before we set off she loved hehe

Awww!

Emily has been suffering some seperation anxiety just of late, not wanting me to go to work or leave her. She has been fine up until recently but we are trying a few things to help her out.
However yesterday when i had to go to work after my midwife appointment Emily asked me not to go when i was getting out of the car. I explained i had little choice and would be home soon.
As my mum was driving away Emily said "Nan.." Mum looked in her rear view mirror and saw Emily had very watery eyes, she asked "what love?" Emily said "I think i might be going to cry!"
Awww! She is so gorgous bless her

Educating Mum!

Well this morning Emily was watching me straighten my hair in the bedroom and happened upon a plastic lid she found on the floor (yes my bedroom is a hole) she said "hmm what bottle does this go on mummy?" i didnt recognise it so i explained it was probably from something i had already used up and she could put it in the bin.
When she got to the bin in my room she threw in the lid then picked out an old empty bottle of her bubblebath. "Mum that doesnt go in here! not in this bin.." i wondeered if she expected it should go in the bathroom bin so i asked her why. Then she said "Mum its Incycling! it goes in the incycling box!"
Crikey that told me eh hahahah

Potty Training

Well there has been the odd occation Emily has managed to tell me she needs the toilet and make it to the potty but today she has had a great breakthrough
She has had big girls pants on all day and has been to the potty 4 times and is still dry!
Fingers crossed ........

She went all day! I think in total she has probably had 9 wee's on the potty today ranging from tinkles to full potty.
Iv just explained to her its probably best to have a nappy on at bedtime just incase but if she can do a few days in a row like this i think i will be chancing the plastic undersheet on her bed and waking her for the toilet a few times through the evening.
