Paulines Wedding

Today we all went to my gorgeous cousin Paulines wedding, it was so lovely to see the Campbell side of the family at a happy event instead of a funeral!
Emily was good as gold all day and look absolubtly gorgeous, she got a little bit restless during the ceremony but Auntie Rie had allsorts of wierd and wonderfull goodies in her handbag to keep her entertained



The photographer also took a shine to her while we were waiting for the group photo and my cousin later sent me a copy of one of the pictures that had come back

While sitting in the garden yesterday Emily was talking to something on the floor, i had a glance and saw it was an Ant, "Hello you.." she says to it, bless.
I said "what you got there honey?"
She looked at me dead serious and said "Its an Antique".

MayDay Gala

We took Emily to the May Day Gala today in the park.

Unlike last years scorching hot day today started off terrible and i thought it was going to be a day stuck in the house but the rain stopped long enough for us to go and have a nosy and im glad we did! We really enjoyed the Gala and Emily had great fun.

She had a ride on a donkey called Lucy and loved it, unlike her previous goes where it felt more like torture than a treat.
We also risked getting her face painted although i didnt expect too much, maybe a small flower on her cheek if she sat still long enough but to my suprise she sat as still as a statue and let the lady do a lovely butterfly round her eyes with added glitter.

She also got to see some birds of prey, very close up and a clown riding a tiny bike and the majorettes and a sheep dog rounding up some geese.
We then had an evening of finger painting and glueing bits of paper so all in all she had a wonderful day.
Iv just put her to bed and can still hear her on the baby monitor telling Softy her teddy bear all about it!
